Sonia Shenoy's market update on February 13: Sensex, Nifty likely to open positive; Sun Pharma, Coal India, HDFC Bank, DHFL in focus

Indian shares are set to open on a positive note on Wednesday, tracking cues from its Asian peers, on optimism the United States and China might be able to hammer out a deal to resolve their nearly year-long trade dispute.

At 07:05 AM, the SGX Nifty, an early indicator of the Nifty 50's trend in India, was up 0.23 percent at 10,886.50, indicating a positive start for the Sensex and the Nifty.
