Axis Bank | Private sector lender on October 25 reported a 10% year-on-year growth in its standalone net profit at Rs 5,863.56 crore for the quarter ended September, compared to Rs 5,330 crore in the same period a year ago. The net interest income or NII, the difference between interest earned and interest expended, grew by 18.87% YoY to Rs 12,315 crore.

Tech Mahindra | IT services giant has clocked in a profit after tax of ₹494 crore for the July to September period, more than 28% lower than the preceding quarter of 2023-24, the company's financial results announced on October 25 showed. The company’s revenue in dollar terms slipped 2.8% sequentially to $1,555 million. In rupee terms, the revenue declined to ₹12.864 crore.

IndusInd Bank | Ashok P Hinduja, chairman of Hinduja Group of Companies (India), said the company is planning to increase the stake in IndusInd Bank. Regulatory clearance for the move is already in principle, and that it is raising capital through shareholders, with completion expected by November 15, he said.

Sona BLW | Auto component maker has reported its highest-ever revenue, EBITDA, and net profit, in the second quarter. It reported a 34.1% year-on-year jump in net profit at ₹124 crore for the second quarter that ended September 30, 2023. In the quarter, the total revenue stood at ₹787.4 crore, up 20.62% from ₹652.9 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

Indus Towers | Telecom infrastructure major posted a 48.5% year-on-year jump in consolidated net profit at ₹1,294.7 crore for the second quarter that ended September 30, 2023. The consolidated revenue for the quarter stood at ₹7,132.5 crore, down 10.5% against ₹7,966.6 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

Gulf Oil Lubricants | The company reported a 40.7% year-on-year jump in net profit at ₹73.6 crore for the second quarter that ended September 30, 2023. The total revenue stood at ₹802.3 crore, up 11.5% from ₹719.5 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

Sonata Software | The company reported a 10% year-on-year rise in net profit at ₹124.2 crore for the second quarter that ended September 30, 2023. In the quarter, total revenue stood at ₹1,912.6 crore, up 28% from ₹1,496.0 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

Rallis India | The Tata Group company reported a 13.9% year-on-year growth in net profit at ₹82 crore for the second quarter that ended September 30, 2023. In the quarter, total revenue stood at ₹832 crore during the period under review, up 12.5% against ₹951 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.
