Hindustan Petroleum | HPCL reported revenue from operations at ₹102,618 crore for the July to September quarter, contributing to a total revenue of ₹2,21,662 crore for the period from April to September 2023. Notably, HPCL achieved its highest-ever half-yearly consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of ₹12,592 crore, a significant turnaround from a consolidated net loss of ₹11,033 crore in the same period the previous year.

Carysil Ltd | The company incorporated a Wholly Owned Subsidiary (WOS) Company in Turkey, known as 'CARYSIL ANKASTRE SİSTEMLERİ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ' on November 6, with an authorized share capital of TRL 10,000, with a subscribed capital of TRL 10,000. The subsidiary is yet to commence its business operations and, therefore, has reported nil turnover. The primary objective of incorporating this subsidiary is to tap into the Turkish market and cater to the sale of various products, including quartz sinks, faucets, stainless sinks, built-in kitchen appliances, and more.

NHPC | The Board of Directors of the company has granted approval for the Joint Venture Agreement to establish a Joint Venture Company in partnership with Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGENCO).

Tata Steel | The company has fulfilled its previously disclosed agreement regarding the acquisition of a 26% equity shareholding in TP Vardhaman Surya Ltd. Through the execution of the Share Purchase and Shareholders’ Agreement with Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd. and its wholly owned subsidiary, TP Vardhaman Surya Ltd, the Company has successfully completed the acquisition. This acquisition involved the purchase of 13,000 equity shares of face value ₹10 each, at par, totaling 26% equity shareholding in TP Vardhaman Surya Ltd. The aggregate consideration for this acquisition amounted to ₹1,30,000.

India Pesticides | India Pesticides has released its second-quarter earnings report, which reflects a decline in both net profit and revenue. Net profit for the quarter was ₹19.5 crore, down by 47.6% from ₹37.2 crore in the same period the previous year. The company's revenue for Q2 dropped by 19.4%, to ₹202 crore, from ₹250.7 crore in the same quarter last year.

Quess Corp | The company, in the second quarter of fiscal year 2024, saw a 11% year-on-year increase in revenue, amounting to ₹4,748 crores, and a 79% growth in PAT, reaching ₹71 crores. In the first half of fiscal year 2024, it reported a 13% year-on-year revenue growth to ₹9,349 crore.

DCW Limited | DCW Limited has signed Power Purchase Agreements with Kaze Renewables Private Limited (SPV/Power Producer) to establish two Renewable Power Plants in Tamil Nadu with a combined captive capacity of 44.5 MWp under the Captive Power Scheme. Under these agreements, the SPV, as a Captive Generator, will supply solar power to DCW Limited for its manufacturing plant(s) located in Tamil Nadu.

Nykaa | FSN E-Commerce Ventures, parent of cosmetics-to-fashion retailer Nykaa reported its slowest quarterly revenue growth since listing, hurt by stiff competition in its mainstay beauty and personal care (BPC) segment. Consolidated revenue from operations grew 22.4% to 15.07 billion rupees ($181.17 million) in July-September, its slowest year-on-year percentage growth since the company went public in November 2021. Revenue growth was also muted due to a delay in the festive season.

Results: Alkem Laboratories, Apollo Tyres, Balrampur Chini Mills, Cummins India, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, Deepak Nitrite, Power Grid, and Zydus Lifesciences among others will report their earnings for the quarter ended September later in the day.
