The Indian market on Thursday closed firmly in the green. The benchmark Nifty index closed 0.8% higher at 10,768 points after breaching 10,800 intra-day for the first time in 17 sessions, while the 30-stock Sensex gained 284 points to 35,463.

The broader markets also saw gains on the line of benchmarks, with the Nifty Bank index gaining 150 points to 26,518 and the Nifty Midcap index surging 281 points to 18,734.

HDFC Bank: The bank raised its lending rate by 10 basis points.
HT Media: The company's board approved investing up to Rs 400 crore in HT Music and Entertainment.
Reliance Power: The company's promoter released a pledge on 19.6 crore shares, on June 4.
Future Retail: PremjiInvest bought 6% stake in the company from the Bharti family.
Tata Steel: The company has joined the race for Usha Martin's Jamshedpur facility, which was put on the block to pare some of the parent's debt, a Moneycontrol report said.
IDBI, Federal Bank: The companies put fresh conditions on IDBI Federal Life stake sale as they seek premium from bidders for the bancassurance tie-up.
Bancassurance means selling an insurance product through a tie-up with banks.
Tata Motors: Tata Motors said it plans to raise $250-500 million through overseas loans to refinance buy-back of bonds issued by the company in 2014. On the global front, the company's Jaguar UK sales have risen to 19.7% at 3,069 units while Land Rover sales have risen to 16.8% at 6,566 units. The JLR sales, in total, are up by 16.8% at 13,132 units as compared to the same period in the last fiscal.
Kwality Ltd: Shares in Kwality Ltd, a processor and handler of dairy products, have tumbled 28% so far in June, taking this year's losses to 77%.
Telco stocks: Aruna Sundararajan, telecom secretary, on Thursday expressed strong displeasure over the state of call drops in the country and said the government wouldn't shy of taking stronger measures against the errant companies if the situation doesn't improve, a Moneycontrol report said.
Reliance Industries: RIL's telecom arm Reliance Jio on Thursday said it is looking at covering 99 percent of India's population by the end of the current fiscal.
ACME Resources: ACME Group said it has won 50 MW solar power project at Gujrai solar park, Uttar Pradesh in an auction conducted by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
