Vedanta | Mining baron Anil Agarwal on Tuesday said the Konkola Copper Mines, which returned to his London-based firm Vedanta Resources last week, can be moved to the group's India-listed firm Vedanta "at the right valuation". Last week, Zambia agreed to return control of Konkola Copper Mines to Vedanta Resources, which is the parent firm of Mumbai-listed Vedanta.

Infosys | The technology services provider announced a multi-year collaboration with the STARK Group, Europe's largest retailer and distributor of building materials. Infosys and STARK Group, as part of this collaboration, will establish a state-of-the-art data center in Denmark, which will provide seamless service to the STARK Group's offices across Europe.

KEC International | Engineering firm on Tuesday said it has bagged new orders worth Rs 1,012 crore, spanning various segments of its business portfolio. The company's civil business division has clinched contracts from new clients operating in the data center and FMCG sectors within India, according to a stock exchange filing.

Vakrangee | Mumbai-based software player and white-label ATM operator on Tuesday said it's acquiring an additional 8.8 percent equity stake in Vortex Engineering Private Ltd (Vortex) from private equity investor International Finance Corporation. This is in addition to the earlier acquisition of 48.5 percent from Aavishkaar Capital, according to a stock exchange filing.

RITES | State-owned company on Tuesday said it has signed a MoU with Caminho De Ferro De Moçâmedes (CFM) Angola for cooperation in the development of Railways and related infrastructure, including the supply of rolling stock. As part of the MoU, RITES and CFM Angola will collaborate in areas such as the supply of rolling stock, railway infrastructure projects, etc.

GE Power | The company on Tuesday said it has received a purchase order from Vedanta Ltd. The order pertains to NOX (Nitrogen Oxide) Reduction at Vedanta's Lanjigarh Combined Gas Power Plant (CGPP) unit, which has a total capacity of 3 x 30 MW. The base value of the contract stands at Rs 25 crore and the timeline for executing this order is set at 14 months.

NTPC | State-owned power giant on Tuesday said it has completed the trial operations of unit-1 of 800 MW capacity of Stage-I (2 x 800 MW) of the Telangana Super Thermal Power Project. With this, the installed capacity of NTPC and NTPC Group has become 57,838 MW and 73,824 MW respectively.

Future Retail | The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has extended the deadline to September 15 for the completion of the insolvency resolution process of a debt-ridden company. The decision came on an application moved by the company's Resolution Professional before the tribunal's Mumbai bench seeking to exclude a period of 29 days from the process, according to a regulatory filing.

Baid Finserv | MSME and vehicle loan provider has approved a proposal to issue non-convertible debentures for up to Rs 250 crore on a private placement basis. The company approved the issuance at its 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) held recently. The terms and conditions of the issue will be decided by the board of directors, a release said.
