Sudarshan Sukhani on December 24: Buy TCS, Sun Pharma & sell Tata Steel
Dec 24, 2018 12:06 AM

The latest analysis and commentary by stock market guru Sudarshan Sukhani on what is moving the markets today. Check out his top stock recommendations.

He spoke at length about Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Tata Steel, Siemens, Hero Motocorp, Bajaj Finance, Just Dial and Vedanta Ltd.

“TCS is a buying opportunity. IT is bottoming out. That is a process, it takes time but for today and for the overnight trade also, I think TCS as potential to rise so buy TCS, buy Sun Pharma. I am upbeat on IT and pharma in general, both are coming out of deep corrections, so Sun Pharma is an outperformer today, I would suggest you go and buy Sun Pharma and Tata steel is a short sell. Short selling should be done only intraday but the stock is languishing and maybe some small gains can be made on the downside,” he said.

“There are more buy calls because I do think that this market will give us that end of year rally at this point. So starting with Siemens, it is a very perfect bullish head and shoulders is in place, it is a positional trade and of course it is a trade for the day. If it is closing strong, you can carry all your long positions to Wednesday, don’t worry about tomorrow’s holiday. It is unlikely that US markets will fall on the day before Christmas or after Christmas. Hero Motocorp is another buy, the stock is already in a strong rally, it is posing, I would assume more momentum on the upside and Bajaj Finance which is now surprisingly turning pretty positive, this is a buying opportunity. There are two intraday short calls, Just Dial and Vedanta,” he added.
