He spoke at length about Bata India, NIIT Technologies, RBL Bank, Ajanta Pharma, Vedanta, Yes Bank, HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries, Asian Paints, Jet Airways, Zee Entertainment, Page Industries.

“Consider buying HDFC Bank. It is leading the banks. Consider buying Reliance Industries, same reason, it is leading the Nifty. Consider buying Asian Paints which is recovering from a small dip and also the lower crude is helping it,” he said.

“Given the fact that we are all in an upbeat mood today, we should be buying midcaps. The largecaps are taken care of by the indices. So start with Bata India. It is making new highs again. I think there is significant up move left here. That is a buy. NIIT Technologies finally confirmed an extremely attractive and bullish pattern yesterday. That is a perfect bullish head and shoulder. So, NIIT Technologies is a buy for the day; it is a positional trade. RBL Bank which is inside a consolidation and outperforming the other private sector banks, I have no idea what it does and why, but he charts are excellent. That is a buy. Ajanta Pharma which keeps on coming in my buy list is outperforming everything else. There are 4 different buys from 4 different sectors, just to temper it, all metals are short sells and that is Vedanta for the day. However, keep the short sell only intraday,” he added.
