Dipen Sheth, head of institutional research at HDFC Securities, shared his views on Jubilant Foodworks, Bharti Infratel, Tata Motors and Britannia Industries.

"Jubilant Foodworks has several levers for growth in the coming years be it penetration, frequency of consumption, upselling etc", he told CNBC-TV18 on Friday.

“One thing which is being unequivocally ruled out is reversion to any kind to the thought that was expressed and hastily withdrawn by the board, by the management last week, which was that promoter entity would impose a minor royalty to build the corporate brand,” Sheth said.

"So investors need to get that issue out of the way and focus on whether this Rs 3000 crore company can become a Rs 5,000-Rs 10,000 crore company over the next few years," advised Sheth.

According to Sheth, Britannia Industries is a long-term story and when a long-term story is playing out one should not worry too much about one-two quarter being subdued.

“I don’t think there is any risk in Britannia losing its trajectory in terms of business performance,” he added. For Britannia, the focus should be on market share and penetration.

Talking about Bharti Infratel, he said, "It is difficult to be constructive on the stock and especially when its ownership is also going to be moving this or that way. However, there could always be some value trade because of the asset base of the company and lack of leverage."

Tata Motors shares fell over 22 percent on Friday after the company reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 26,961 crore for the December 2018 quarter on Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) asset impairment. CNBC-TV18 Polls had predicted a profit of Rs 541 crore for the quarter under review.

Sheth said they have dropped the coverage of Tata Motors but it is time to have a re-look now.

"One needs to take a call on the trajectory of the business. At one-fourth of the peaks we have seen it at, it looks enticing case for diving deep."
