These are the top performing mutual fund schemes in May, according to Paytm Money

SUMMARY

Mutual funds have become a popular instrument to invest in equity markets, with additional benefits of investing with small amounts and tax benefits. Net inflows in the equity mutual funds, including equity-linked saving schemes, rose over 17 percent month-over-month in May, according to Amfi data. The BSE Sensex rose 1.5 percent and the 50-share Nifty advanced 1.8 percent last month. According to Paytm Money, BNP Paribas Large Cap Fund, ICICI Prudential Small Cap Fund and BOI AXA Tax Advantage are among the equity mutual funds that stood out in terms of performance in May.
