At 2:30 pm, the Sensex was trading 126.08 points or 0.30 percent higher at 41,684.65 while the Nifty50 was at 12,257.35, up 35.20 points or 0.29 percent. HDFC Bank's shares rose 1.01 percent to its 52-week high of Rs 1,305.50.
NMDC's shares rose 3.66 percent to its 52-week high of Rs 124.40.
Muthoot Finance's shares surged 3.63 percent to its 52-week high of Rs 740.80.
