SUMMARY

Indian shares rose on Thursday, in line with gains in broader Asia, as investors cheered US President Donald Trump hinting at a possible China-US trade deal. At 3 pm, the Sensex traded 357.18 points higher at 38,918.39, while the broader Nifty50 index rose 109.60 points to trade at 11,549.80. Broader market indices traded higher with the Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap gaining over 0.50 percent.

Kotak Mahindra Bank's share price rose 5.14 percent to its 52-week high of Rs 1,683.95.

ICICI Bank's share price gained 5.67 percent to touch its 52-week high of Rs 458.65 on the NSE.

BPCL's shares surged 3.65 percent to its 52-week high of Rs 482.

IndiGo parent InterGlobe Aviation's shares rose 3.07 percent to its 52-week high of Rs 1,859.

Cipla’s shares slipped 1.06 percent to touch its 52-week low of Rs 430.40 on the NSE.

YES Bank stock price fell 5.49 percent to its 52-week low of Rs 50.75 per share on the NSE.(Image Reuters)
