02:15 PM EDT, 05/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Applied DNA Sciences ( APDN ) said Tuesday it priced a public offering of about 9.2 million units to raise around $12 million.

Shares slumped about 68%, with intraday trading volume at over 8.4 million versus a daily average of about 73,000.

Netcapital ( NCPL ) said late on Friday it struck a deal for the immediate exercise of some Series A-2 warrants to raise about $2.2 million for the company. The warrants to buy up to about 14.32 million shares were issued in December last year.

Shares dropped 24% as trading volume soared to over 13.2 million compared with a daily average of about 5.27 million.

Wells Fargo downgraded Zscaler ( ZS ) to equal-weight from overweight while cutting its price target to $182 from $275. Among other price target cuts were from Barclays to $205 from $240 and RBC to $215 from $265.

Shares fell over 4% as intraday trading volume climbed to over 3 million from a daily average of about 2.08 million.
