Shares slumped 30%, with intraday trading volume at over 203,000 versus a daily average of about 23,000.

Huntington Bancshares ( HBAN ) said in a regulatory filing Monday that it now expects its 2024 net interest income to fall 1% to 4% from a year earlier, compared with its prior range of a 2% drop to 2% growth.

Shares fell 4.9% as intraday trading volume climbed to over 32.9 million versus the stock's daily average of about 14.4 million.

Morgan Stanley downgraded Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ) to an equal-weight rating from overweight.

"We like the AMD story, but investor expectations for the AI business still seem too high to us," the brokerage said in a note.

Shares dropped 3.9%, with trading volume at over 47 million compared with a daily average of about 57.5 million.
