The company plans to use the proceeds to fund research and development, among other things.

Eyenovia ( EYEN ) priced a public offering of 12.9 million common shares at $0.40 apiece for expected gross proceeds of $5.14 million.

Shares dropped 35% as volume topped 19.6 million versus the daily average of about 952,000.

Franklin Resources' ( BEN ) Western Asset Management said Ken Leech, co-chief investment officer, is taking an immediate leave of absence amid internal and external probes into past trade allocations.

Shares dropped 7.9% as volume topped 12.6 million versus the daily average of 3.58 million.
