02:33 PM EDT, 09/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Maxeon Solar Technologies ( MAXN ) on Tuesday reported a sharp decline in Q2 sales from a year earlier.

Shares slumped 17% as intraday trading volume jumped to over 89.2 million from a daily average of roughly 90.9 million.

Equity analysts at Wells Fargo ( WFC ) downgraded Boeing ( BA ) to underweight from equal weight, citing a less optimistic view of the company's free cash flow opportunity and an expected equity raise that will further dilute shares.

The analysts also lowered the company's price target to $119 from $185.

Shares slid 7.7% as intraday trading volume climbed to over 13.2 million compared with the stock's daily average of about 5.9 million.

Intel ( INTC ) could be removed from the Dow Jones Industrial Average as the chipmaker's almost 60% plunge in share price this year made it the worst performer on the index, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing analysts and investors.

Shares dropped 8.4% as intraday trading volume rose to over 68.5 million versus a daily average of about 63.1 million.
