02:01 PM EDT, 04/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Super Micro Computer ( SMCI ) shares sank 15% amid heavy trading after the company overnight reported a pull-back in fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings per share and net sales guidance.

Shares slumped amid an increase in intraday trading volume to more than 73.5 million from a daily average of about 76.7 million.

Garmin ( GRMN ) also reported quarterly results overnight, with Q1 non-GAAP earnings per share missing the average analyst estimate compiled by FactSet.

Shares declined 9.7%, with intraday trading volume climbing to more than 1.6 million versus a daily average of about 1.1 million.

CoStar ( CSGP ) swung to a year-over-year surprise Q1 net loss late Tuesday.

Shares dropped 8.6% as intraday trading volume climbed to more than 6 million from the stock's daily average of about 3.6 million.
