02:28 PM EDT, 05/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Medicus Pharma's ( MDCX ) shares slumped nearly 34% amid heavy trading Friday after the company priced a public offering of 2.26 million units at $3.10 per unit, targeting $7 million in proceeds.

More than 1.68 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 136,000.

CollPlant Biotechnologies' ( CLGN ) shares sank 32% after the company unveiled a $3.6 million registered direct offering of ordinary shares Friday.

About 277,000 shares traded intraday versus a daily average of over 57,000.

Sanofi ( SNY ) and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals ( REGN ) said one of the phase 3 trials of itepekimab in adults who were former smokers with inadequately controlled chronic obstructive pulmonary disease met its primary endpoint, while another did not meet the same primary endpoint.

Shares of Regeneron slumped 19% as intraday trading volume rose to over 4.61 million from a daily average of more than 1.15 million.

Shares of Sanofi ( SNY ) declined 5.5%, with intraday trading volume rising to over 3.31 million versus a daily average of about 2.92 million.
