01:51 PM EDT, 06/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Neogen (NEOG) shares slumped 23% amid heavy intraday trading after the company said in its fiscal Q4 update that transitory headwinds are expected to negatively impact gross margin.

More than 14.5 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 6.4 million.

Dollar Tree ( DLTR ) forecast Wednesday an earnings decline of up to 50% for the current quarter amid the impact of the Trump administration's trade tariffs, taking the shine off better-than-expected fiscal Q1 results.

Shares retreated 6.8% as intraday trading volume rose to more than 11.3 million from a daily average of roughly 5.3 million.

CrowdStrike ( CRWD ) shares dropped after midday on Wednesday as the company reported overnight a decline in fiscal Q1 non-GAAP earnings.

Shares fell 5%, with intraday trading volume climbing to over 12.7 million versus the stock's daily average of about 4.2 million.
