01:48 PM EDT, 07/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals ( CYCC ) said Wednesday it is "not aware of any material developments or changes to its operating or financial condition that precipitated the volume and price movements that occurred" Tuesday.

Shares sank 32% following an increase in intraday trading volume to over 2.96 million from a daily average of about 1.27 million.

Onconetix ( ONCO ) and Ocuvex Therapeutics said Wednesday that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement.

Shares of Onconetix ( ONCO ) slumped 16%, with intraday trading volume rising to over 3.23 million from a daily average of about 300,000.

ASML ( ASML ) shares fell 8.7% after the company guided fiscal Q3 sales below Wall Street expectations. The company also cited "increasing uncertainty driven by macroeconomic and geopolitical developments" as clouding its 2026 outlook.

More than 7.9 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of roughly 1.35 million.
