Trading volume stood at over 19.2 million shares, compared with a daily average of about 2.9 million.
Cipher Mining ( CIFR ) said Thursday it plans to launch a private offering of $800 million of 0% convertible senior notes maturing on Oct. 1, 2031.
Shares fell more than 12% in recent trading, with trading volume at over 83.8 million versus a daily average of about 37.3 million.
Transocean ( RIG ) shares were over 13% lower recently after the company said late Wednesday it priced an upsized public offering of 125 million shares at $3.05 per share.
Trading volume was over 153.9 million against a daily average of about 28 million.
