02:43 PM EDT, 10/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Orion (OEC) shares sank 16% amid heavy trading a day after the company lowered its fiscal 2025 guidance for adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization.

Intraday trading volume climbed to more than 1.96 million shares from a daily average of roughly 574,000.

Nuburu ( BURU ) said late Monday it received a warning letter from NYSE American over its recent announcement about the implementation of a dual-CEO structure.

The exchange said the firm did not provide the required advance notification to the exchange prior to the issuance of the release.

Shares slumped 20% as intraday trading volume soared to over 203 million from a daily average of about 99.1 million.

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals ( BCRX ) has agreed to buy Astria Therapeutics ( ATXS ) in a cash and stock deal worth about $700 million in enterprise value.

Shares of BioCryst slid 12%, with trading volume of over 25.1 million versus a daily average of about 3.1 million. Astria shares were up 36%.
