Shares plunged 67% as intraday trading volume catapulted to over 4.1 million from a daily average of about 52,000.

FibroBiologics ( FBLG ) reported Monday definitive agreements for the issuance and sale of about 4.5 million shares at $0.335 apiece in a registered direct offering, targeting gross proceeds of roughly $1.5 million.

Shares slumped 25% as intraday trading volume rose to over 3.5 million from a daily average of about 908,000.
