02:01 PM EDT, 03/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Super Micro Computer ( SMCI ) shares fell roughly 29% in midday trading on Friday after the company placed two employees on administrative leave and terminated a contractor, effective immediately, following the indictment of all three by US prosecutors for allegedly conspiring to commit export-control violations.
Trading volume stood at over 159.9 million shares, versus a daily average of roughly 29.5 million.
Unusual Machines ( UMAC ) said Friday it priced a public offering of 8.8 million shares at $17 each to raise about $150 million in gross proceeds.
Shares slid nearly 17% as intraday trading volume jumped to over 8.9 million from a daily average of about 4 million.
Battalion Oil ( BATL ) said late Thursday it has closed its purchase of certain oil and gas assets, comprising 7,090 net acres in Ward County, Texas, from RoadRunner Resource in an all-stock deal.
