01:35 PM EDT, 06/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Oddity Tech ( ODD ) said Friday its board has approved a stock buyback program of up to $150 million of its Class A shares.

Shares climbed 24% as intraday trading volume advanced to over 2.25 million from a daily average of about 1.08 million.

Geron ( GERN ) shares soared 21% after the company said late Thursday it received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for Rytelo to treat adult patients with lower-risk myelodysplastic syndrome, a type of leukemia.

Over 73.2 million shares traded intraday versus a daily average of roughly 12.9 million.

Braze (BRZE) overnight reported better-than-expected fiscal Q1 results. It also improved its full-year guidance.

Shares climbed 2.6% as intraday trading volume advanced to over 2.49 million from a daily average of about 963,000.
