01:48 PM EDT, 07/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lakeside Holding (LSH) said Wednesday that it entered into a one-year agreement with automatic annual renewals with a "leading Asia-based e-commerce platform" to provide cross-border logistics services such as air and ocean freight and customs declaration.

The company didn't disclose the financial details of the contract.

Shares jumped 32% as intraday trading volume climbed to over 24.8 million from its daily average of about 87,000.

Powell Industries ( POWL ) surged 39.3% amid heavy trading after the company overnight reported its fiscal Q3 earnings that more than doubled from the year-ago period.

Over 1.26 million shares traded intraday versus a daily average of roughly 373,000.

Universal Stainless & Alloy Products ( USAP ) reported Wednesday "record" net revenue and profitability in Q2, with gross margin also hitting a "new record high."

Shares advanced 17.6% as intraday trading volume advanced to over 381,000 versus the stock's daily average of about 171,000.
