01:58 PM EDT, 08/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Telos ( TLS ) said Tuesday it received a contract worth up to $12.5 billion for technology infrastructure upgrades at US Air Force bases worldwide, including National Guard and Reserve locations.

Telos ( TLS ) shares rose nearly 16% as intraday trading volume rose to over 3.7 million versus the stock's daily average of about 765,000.

Alaska Air ( ALK ) and Hawaiian Airlines parent Hawaiian Holdings ( HA ) said the period for the US Department of Justice to complete its review of the airlines' proposed merger ended without any apparent objections.

Shares of Hawaiian climbed 11%, with intraday trading volume at over 19.3 million compared with a daily average of about 1.1 million.

Titan Pharmaceuticals ( TTNP ) surged amid heavy trading after the company said late Monday that it signed an agreement for a business combination with Malaysian company KE.

Shares of Titan nearly doubled as intraday trading volume catapulted to over 22.9 million from a daily average of about 7,000.
