01:51 PM EDT, 09/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Signing Day Sports ( SGN ) signed a binding term sheet to acquire as much as 99% of the outstanding shares of sports and casino technologies company Dear Cashmere Holding (DRCR), doing business as Swifty Global, in an all-equity deal.

Signing Day's stock price almost quadrupled as intraday volume topped 500.5 million shares versus the daily average of almost 498,000.

Exicure ( XCUR ) said late Wednesday a Nasdaq hearings panel granted an extension to continue its listing if the company can show by Nov. 14 evidence that it is complying with "all applicable criteria for continued listing."

Shares surged 70% as volume topped 16.1 million versus the daily average of 1.06 million.

Edgewise Therapeutics ( EWTX ) shares jumped after the company said EDG-7500, an investigational treatment for cardiomyopathy, was well-tolerated in two early trials.

Shares advanced 49% with volume topping 9.32 million versus the daily average of almost 975,000.
