01:52 PM EDT, 10/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Verb Technology ( VERB ) shares surged nearly 78% amid heavy trading after its top executive said Friday the stock should be trading at more than $22 per share and that the company is "extremely well capitalized" and virtually debt-free.

Over 12.4 million shares traded intraday versus a daily average of roughly 93,000.

CeriBell (CBLL) said, late Thursday, it priced its initial public offering of 10.6 million common shares at $17 apiece for expected gross proceeds of $180.3 million.

Shares soared 42% as intraday trading volume catapulted to more than 2.28 million.

Upstream Bio (UPB) said late Thursday it priced its initial public offering of 15 million common shares at $17 apiece for expected gross proceeds of $255 million, up from the initial size of $200 million.

Shares surged 32%, with intraday trading volume at over 1.95 million.
