02:23 PM EST, 11/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- HCW Biologics ( HCWB ) and WY Biotech said they struck a licensing deal to develop and commercialize one of the former's immunotherapeutic product candidates.

Under the terms, HCW Biologics ( HCWB ) will receive a $7 million upfront payment from WY Biotech, and the latter will cover all expenses such as research and development, manufacturing, and clinical development, the companies said Monday.

Shares catapulted 376% as intraday trading volume soared to more than 473.2 million from a daily average of about 49,000.

Eco Wave Power Global ( WAVE ) said Monday it received the final nationwide permit from the US Army Corps of Engineers for an energy project at AltaSea's premises at the Port of Los Angeles.
