Shares of Arcadia surged 138% as intraday trading volume catapulted to nearly 65.8 million from a daily average of about 15,000.

Protara Therapeutics ( TARA ) said Thursday its investigational therapy TARA-002 demonstrated a so-called complete response rate of 72% at six months in a phase 2 trial involving patients with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer.
