02:14 PM EDT, 05/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- BioMarin Pharmaceutical ( BMRN ) said Friday that it agreed to acquire Inozyme Pharma ( INZY ) at $4 per share in cash to strengthen its enzyme therapies portfolio.

Inozyme shares rallied 178% as trading volume catapulted to over 44 million from a daily average of about 817,000.

Virgin Galactic ( SPCE ) shares soared 80% after the company overnight narrowed its Q1 net loss as revenue fell due to a pause in commercial spaceflights to focus on the production of its Delta Class SpaceShips.

Over 78.4 million shares traded intraday versus a daily average of roughly 1.92 million.

TSS (TSSI) shares jumped after the company reported a year-over-year increase in Q1 earnings and revenue late Thursday.

Shares advanced 71%, with intraday trading volume at over 25.6 million versus a daily average of roughly 988,000.
