01:15 PM EDT, 05/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Sanofi ( SNY ) agreed to acquire Vigil Neuroscience ( VIGL ) in a cash transaction with an equity value of up to $600 million, the duo said late Wednesday.

Shares of Vigil more than tripled as intraday trading volume catapulted to over 31.5 million from a daily average of about 155,000.

Navitas Semiconductor ( NVTS ) soared 145% amid heavy trading after the company said overnight its technology was chosen by Nvidia (NVDA) for its 800 V HVDC architecture to support Kyber rack-scale systems powering its graphics processing units.

Intraday trading volume rose to more than 188.1 million shares of Navitas compared with a daily average of roughly 4.7 million.

Advance Auto Parts ( AAP ) reported a narrower-than-expected fiscal Q1 loss and stronger-than-anticipated sales, while reiterating its full-year outlook late Thursday.

Shares surged 53% as intraday trading volume advanced to more than 17.4 million from a daily average of about 2.6 million.
