01:34 PM EDT, 08/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Webtoon Entertainment ( WBTN ) overnight announced plans to offer more than 100 comics on its mobile vertical-scroll format in a multiyear collaboration with Walt Disney (DIS).

Shares of Webtoon surged 79% as intraday trading volume jumped to nearly 12.8 million from a daily average of roughly 300,000.

Sapiens International ( SPNS ) shares soared 44% amid heavy trading after the company said Wednesday it signed a deal to be acquired by private equity investor Advent in an all-cash transaction for $43.50 per common share, or about $2.5 billion.

More than 17.7 million shares traded intraday, compared with a daily average of about 193,000.

Bullish (BLSH), a digital asset platform for market infrastructure and information services, said Tuesday it priced an upsized initial public offering of 30 million shares at $37 each. Shares of the company surged 152% in recent Wednesday trading after debuting on the New York Stock Exchange earlier in the day.

More than 26.1 million shares of the company traded intraday.
