02:05 PM EST, 11/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Day One Biopharmaceuticals (DAWN) said it agreed to acquire Mersana Therapeutics ( MRSN ) in a transaction valued at up to about $285 million, according to a Thursday statement.

Shares of Mersana more than tripled as intraday trading volume soared to over 2.83 million from a daily average of about 61,000.

Sealed Air ( SEE ) shares surged 18% amid heavy trading after The Wall Street Journal reported late Wednesday that the company is in discussions for a potential takeover by Clayton Dubilier & Rice.

Intraday trading volume soared at over 8 million shares compared with a daily average of about 1.6 million.

Dillard's (DDS) reported fiscal Q3 earnings and revenue above analysts' expectations on Thursday.

Shares climbed 16% as intraday trading volume advanced to more than 181,000 from a daily average of about 121,000.
