02:20 PM EDT, 03/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- CVD Equipment ( CVV ) said Tuesday it has agreed to sell its Stainless Design Concepts unit to Atlas Copco Group for about $16.9 million in cash.

Shares rose roughly 37% as midday trading volume rose to over 9.5 million shares from a daily average of roughly 70,000.

Sol-Gel Technologies ( SLGL ) shares were up about 28%, a day after the firm priced an oversubscribed underwritten offering of 459,112 shares at $72.00 a share.

Intraday trading volume stood at more than 47,000 shares, against a daily average of about 27,000.

Merlin (MRLN) said it was named to Fast Company's list of the World's Most Innovative Companies.

Shares rose 24%, with trading volume of around 2.6 million.
