12:34 PM EDT, 06/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- All three major US stock indexes were down around noon Friday after the University of Michigan's Survey of Consumers showed that sentiment among consumers fell to 65.6 in June from 69.1 in May.

In company news, the US Federal Aviation Administration and Spirit AeroSystems ( SPR ) are investigating fake documents certifying the authenticity of titanium that may have been used in some Boeing ( BA ) and Airbus airplanes. Separately, Boeing ( BA ) and NASA are targeting a date no earlier than June 22 to return the Boeing Crew Flight Test mission from the International Space Station. Boeing ( BA ) shares were down more than 1%, while those of Spirit were down 0.7%.

Adobe (ADBE) reported fiscal Q2 non-GAAP earnings late Thursday of $4.48 per diluted share, up from $3.91 in the year-ago period and above the Capital IQ consensus analyst estimate of $4.39. Revenue for the quarter ended May 31 was $5.31 billion, up from $4.82 billion a year earlier and above the consensus analyst estimate of $5.29 billion. Adobe now expects full-year adjusted EPS in a range of $18 to $18.20 on sales of $21.4 billion to $21.5 billion, up from previous guidance. Shares of the company were up more than 14% around noon.

Vanguard, Tesla's (TSLA) largest outside investor, reversed its stance on Chief Executive Elon Musk's $56 billion pay package Thursday, when it voted for the ratification, Reuters reported Friday. Additionally, Tesla said Thursday it is officially incorporated in Texas after submitting all the filings needed to complete its conversion into a Texas corporation. Tesla shares were down a little over 2%.

Stock influencer Keith Gill, known online as Roaring Kitty, said Thursday he now owns 9 million shares of GameStop ( GME ) , up from 5 million earlier this week. Gill showed his position in GameStop ( GME ) valued at $262.1 million and he no longer holds 120,000 strike call options. Separately, GameStop ( GME ) said its virtual annual meeting of stockholders will now be held on June 17. The originally scheduled meeting on June 13 was adjourned due to technical difficulties. GameStop ( GME ) stock was down 3.5%.

Stellantis ( STLA ) Chief Executive Carlos Tavares said the carmaker is already set to assemble Europe-bound electrical vehicles it's building with its Chinese partner outside of China ahead of expected European tariffs. Stellantis ( STLA ) shares were down 4.7%.

Charles Schwab's ( SCHW ) total client assets reached $9.21 trillion in May, up 20% from a year earlier and up 4% from April. Core net new assets brought to the company by clients were $31.1 billion last month. Company shares were down 0.3%.

Home Depot ( HD ) said Friday that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 for its acquisition of SRS Distribution expired on June 13. The completion of the transaction is expected on June 18. Home Depot ( HD ) shares were down 1%.

Phillips 66 (PSX) has agreed to sell its 25% non-operated common equity interest in Rockies Express Pipeline to a Tallgrass Energy subsidiary for about $1.28 billion. The deal is expected to close Friday. Phillips 66 shares were down 0.5%.
