08:05 AM EDT, 08/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- US equity futures were little changed pre-bell Wednesday as traders stayed on the sidelines ahead of quarterly earnings from chipmaker Nvidia ( NVDA ) .

The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures and S&P 500 futures both flatlined, while Nasdaq futures were down 0.1%.

Nvidia ( NVDA ) is scheduled to release its earnings report after the closing bell.

Oil prices were lower, with front-month global benchmarks North Sea Brent crude down 1.4% at $77.58 per barrel and US West Texas Intermediate crude down 1.6% at $74.33 per barrel.
