08:17 AM EST, 11/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- US equity futures were higher Monday as traders looked ahead to consumer inflation data due for release later in the week while the country observes the Veterans Day holiday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose 0.5%, S&P 500 futures gained 0.5%, and Nasdaq futures were up 0.5%.
The Consumer Price Index is scheduled for release on Wednesday.
Oil prices were lower, with front-month global benchmark North Sea Brent crude down 1.9% at $72.50 per barrel and US West Texas Intermediate crude down 2% at $68.94 per barrel.
