Crescent Energy ( CRGY ) shares were up nearly 10% in recent trading on Wednesday after S&P Dow Jones Indices said it is set to join the S&P SmallCap 600 on Oct. 4, replacing Perficient (PRFT).

Perficient was acquired by EQT Group.
