US Crude Oil, Gasoline Inventories Fall Week Over Week, EIA Reports

05:39 AM EDT, 03/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- US crude oil stocks fell 2 million barrels from the previous week to 445.0 million barrels in the week ended March 15, the US Energy Information Administration reported Wednesday.

Crude oil production in the US also edged lower by 0.05 million barrels per day to 13.175 million b/d week over week, the EIA reported.

US crude oil imports fell 1.91 million b/d to 6.344 million b/d while crude oil exports inched up 0.02 million b/d to 4.348 million b/d week over week, the agency said.

Total US gasoline stocks also declined to 230.8 million barrels in the week ended March 15, representing a 3.3-million-barrel draw from the previous week, the EIA reported.
