US Equity Futures Turn Lower Pre-Bell as Wall Street Set to Kick Off Final Session for Q3

08:26 AM EDT, 09/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- US equity futures were lower premarket Monday as Wall Street is set to kick off the final trading session of September.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures fell 0.1%, S&P 500 futures declined 0.2%, and Nasdaq futures were down 0.3%.

Oil prices were little changed, with front-month global benchmarks North Sea Brent crude up $71.64 per barrel and US West Texas Intermediate crude flat at around $68.19 per barrel.

The Chicago Purchasing Managers' Index, due at 9:45 am ET, is seen coming in unchanged from August at 46.1 in September, according to estimates compiled by Bloomberg.
