* The Dallas Federal Reserve's monthly manufacturing reading fell to minus 14.5 in April from minus 14.4 in March, compared with expectations for an increase to a reading of minus 11.3 in a survey compiled by Bloomberg.
* June West Texas Intermediate crude oil closed down $1.10 to $82.75 per barrel, while June Brent crude, the global benchmark, was last seen down $1.02 to $88.48 as the US Secretary of State pushed for the Gaza cease-fire.
