* Consumer expectations for one-year US inflation growth remained at 3% in February, unchanged from the previous month, a survey released by the New York Federal Reserve Bank showed.
* April West Texas Intermediate crude oil closed up $0.10 to $78.11 per barrel, while May Brent crude, the global benchmark, was last seen up $0.33 to $82.41.
* Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump called Meta Platforms' ( META ) Facebook an "enemy of the people" in a CNBC interview and said the social-media platform could get "bigger" if social media app TikTok is banned.
