July 16 (Reuters) - U.S. stock indexes reversed course
to fall on Wednesday after Bloomberg News reported that
President Donald Trump was likely to fire Federal Reserve Chair
Jerome Powell soon, citing a White House official.
At 11:27 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average
fell 100.39 points, or 0.23%, to 43,922.90, the S&P 500
lost 16.14 points, or 0.26%, to 6,227.62 and the Nasdaq
Composite lost 56.76 points, or 0.27%, to 20,621.04.
