June 18 (Reuters) - Wall Street's major indexes advanced on
Thursday with technology shares leading gains as optimism about
a Middle East peace deal offset worries about a hawkish Federal
Reserve under new Chair Kevin Warsh.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 79.3 points, or
0.15%, to 51,571.85. The S&P 500 rose 67.3 points, or
0.91%, to 7,487.36, while the Nasdaq Composite rose
389.0 points, or 1.49%, to 26,410.623 at the opening bell.
