Nov 12 (Reuters) - Wall Street opened higher on
Wednesday with the Dow at a record high, as investors cheered a
likely end to the longest U.S. government shutdown, while an
upbeat earnings outlook from Advanced Micro Devices revived
optimism around AI.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 87.8 points, or
0.18%, at the open to 48,015.79. The S&P 500 rose 21.2
points, or 0.31%, at the open to 6,867.77, while the Nasdaq
Composite rose 95.5 points, or 0.41%, to 23,563.839 at
the opening bell.
