Nov 25 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes opened
higher on Monday, with the blue-chip Dow scaling a record high,
driven by investor optimism following Scott Bessent's nomination
as Treasury Secretary in the incoming Trump administration.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 89.0 points, or
0.20%, at the open to 44,385.49. The S&P 500 rose 22.9
points, or 0.38%, at the open to 5,992.28, while the Nasdaq
Composite rose 136.9 points, or 0.72%, to 19,140.586 at
the opening bell.
