Oct 15 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes opened
higher on Wednesday, boosted by solid results from major banks,
while chipmakers rallied after positive quarterly results from
ASML.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 104.7 points,
or 0.23%, at the open to 46,375.17. The S&P 500 rose 44.0
points, or 0.66%, to 6,688.27, while the Nasdaq Composite
rose 216.8 points, or 0.96%, to 22,738.496.
