March 7 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes opened
lower on Friday after data showed less-than-expected improvement
in job growth in February, while investors awaited comments from
Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 76.0 points, or
0.18%, at the open to 42,503.07. The S&P 500 fell 12.5
points, or 0.22%, at the open to 5,726.01, while the Nasdaq
Composite dropped 39.4 points, or 0.22%, to 18,029.848
at the opening bell.
