Jan 29 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes were
subdued at the open on Wednesday, as losses in tech heavyweights
Apple ( AAPL ) and Nvidia ( NVDA ) kept broader gains in check and investor
attention turned to the U.S. Federal Reserve's interest-rate
decision, due later in the day.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 30.8 points, or
0.07%, at the open to 44,819.55. The S&P 500 fell 10.0
points, or 0.16%, at the open to 6,057.7, while the Nasdaq
Composite dropped 37.9 points, or 0.19%, to 19,695.68 at
the opening bell.
